Annie’s path to aviation began in the Australian outback, where a desire to see the world and experience it up close first led her to the cockpit. She earned her pilot’s licence in 2014, and today is a commercially rated pilot, float rated and tailwheel rated, with over 1,000 hours logged across dozens of different aircraft types.
Alongside her flying, Annie built a career as a writer and mixed media marketing specialist. She has flown into remote backcountry strips, covered stories from the flight deck, and spent years building relationships with the people and businesses that keep the aviation industry moving.
Avian Creative grew out of those experiences. Annie noticed that many aviation companies don’t have a dedicated marketing team at all, and that the industry as a whole lags roughly a decade behind mainstream marketing trends. The brands that did work with an agency were often paired with one that didn’t speak the language of aviation, and missed the mark entirely. She founded Avian Creative to close that gap, pairing genuine industry knowledge with strong strategy and creative execution.
Today, Avian Creative works with manufacturers, operators, and service providers who want to stand out in a competitive industry. The approach is straightforward: clear strategy, thoughtful creative, and execution built specifically for aviation, informed by someone who understands the industry from the inside.
