Avian Creative is a full-service marketing agency specializing in aviation. From brand strategy and content creation to digital campaigns, we help aviation companies stand out and grow. We’re a tight-knit, creative team based in Collingwood, and we’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join us in-office and support our growing client base.
The Role
As our Junior Graphic Designer, you’ll support the design team in creating high-quality visual content across a range of client projects. This includes marketing materials, branding assets, and occasional web design support.
You’ll work closely with our team to bring ideas to life while maintaining a high standard of design and attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, take feedback, and grow within a fast-paced agency environment.
Junior Graphic Designer Responsibilities
- Design marketing materials and creative assets for a variety of clients
- Support branding projects, including logo design and visual identity development
- Assist with website design mockups and updates
- Prepare files for both print and digital use
- Collaborate with the team to execute creative concepts and campaigns
- Make revisions based on client and internal feedback
- Maintain consistency across client brands and deliverables
- Stay up to date with design trends and best practices
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of design experience (agency experience is an asset)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to take direction and apply feedback effectively
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates clean, modern design work
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with web design platforms such as Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress
- Understanding of branding strategy
